Tech Support - Automotive
Rapidly growing international automotive diagnostic tool manufacturer seeking Technical Support Specialist and Customer Phone Representatives with automotive repair experience.
Autel North America is headquartered in Port Washington, NY and is the distribution hub for the North American market. Autel Automotive Intelligence handles the development, manufacturing, and marketing of diagnostic tools, equipment, and accessories in the automotive aftermarket.
Autel is focused on our Customer Support Teams and how well we can answer our customer questions and complete our customer requests. If you have the base automotive knowledge, we can teach you the skills to succeed in our growing business.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Communicate with customers via email, live chats, and telephone.
-Provide technical support to end users and dealers for our automotive service tools, including code readers, diagnostic scanners, TPMS activation and programming tools.
-Assist end users with tool questions like how to perform software updates, tool registration, questions for proper operation of tools, tool warranty, and repair procedures.
-Will work with large existing Technical Support Team to learn our company procedures to provide optimal customer support via phone, chat, and email.
-Opportunities to perform R&D testing with our products on vehicles.
Qualifications:
-At least two years working knowledge of body, chassis, power train, and computer systems on domestic, European, and Asian vehicles.
-Excellent customer service skills over telephone, email, and live chats.
-One year (minimum) experience as automotive repair technician is required!
-ASE Certifications and/or NYS Inspectors License needed.
-Must have computer skills.
-Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Must have experience in network and printer troubleshooting.
-Be able to handle a fast-paced environment.
-Maintain a positive attitude.
-Spanish speaking a plus!

Full Time Hours: Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
(1 hour lunch break)
